Canned cranberry sauce is easy, but if you just take 10 minutes of your time, you can make delicious, fresh cranberry sauce that will impress your guests during Thanksgiving Dinner and make you think twice about ever buying canned again! Follow my simple recipe for this amazing dish!
When I was younger, most things came from a can. Thats how it was back then, canned cranberry sauce, canned beans, canned vegetables, canned soup. Well, we didn’t eat canned soup but you can understand what I’m coming from. As I got older, times changed and people came across the farmers market, organic ingredients and do-it yourself meals. Nowadays, we are focusing more on the healthy side and being more self-conscious of what we are putting in our bodies. It makes you think twice about the amount of sugar and salt that goes into canned goods.
Now that I am married, I try to bring in a healthy diet as much as I can. With that said, we stay away from canned food. The fresh way IS the easy way, no matter what the media will try to buy you into!
