Salsa Verde My Way

So your regular Salsa Verde usually has tomatillos in them, which gives it the “verde” along with the jalapeños. But it also cools down the heat. So I decided to leave the tomatillos out of the equation and just make it all about the jalapeños. This recipe is ideal on any mexican dish, especially tacos 🙂 The smokey taste from the charred jalapeños and onions enhance the flavor of the salsa and give it a nice kick!  Continue reading

Pretty Pink Pickled Onions


I recently held a Birthday Dinner for my Hubby and our Best Man’s wife, since they are both born on the same day 🙂 I wanted to make something fun and easy to put together so whats more easier than tacos! I made yummy Pulled Pork (recipe coming soon) and I added an extra touch by topping them with these yummy pink pickled onions. These mouthwatering onions brightened up the flavor of the tacos and were a nice way of impressing the crowd! Continue reading
