Sea Salt Chocolate Wafers

Every once in a while, I crave a salty sweet treat that makes me just want to cozy up on my couch with some tea, devour the plate of it, and recap on my missed episodes of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy. Continue reading

Salsa! Salsa! Salsa!

I don’t think any salsa can compare to fresh Pico de Gallo. You can serve it with chips, on your quesadilla, burrito, breakfast burrito, enchilada, torta, fish tacos, it goes on and on.

I love Pico de Gallo and Mexican food!

I can’t explain to you how easy this recipe is! Chopping up ingredients and mixing them together. No cooking necessary! What more can you ask for!? Continue reading

Any Herb Pesto

I have to say that I am a true believer in not wasting food. You spend so much money on groceries and the last thing you want to do is throw away food that has gone bad because you just never got around to it. If you have leftover chicken, make some chicken quesadillas, if you have leftover veggies, make a stir-fry, and if you have fresh herbs going bad, make a pesto!

Salsa Verde My Way

So your regular Salsa Verde usually has tomatillos in them, which gives it the “verde” along with the jalapeños. But it also cools down the heat. So I decided to leave the tomatillos out of the equation and just make it all about the jalapeños. This recipe is ideal on any mexican dish, especially tacos 🙂 The smokey taste from the charred jalapeños and onions enhance the flavor of the salsa and give it a nice kick!  Continue reading

Sur La Table Mini Spatulas

Sur La Table carries these cute Mini Spatulas that are amazing! You would think, why would you need a mini spatula when you have a regular size one? Well, let me tell you! These spatulas are so easy to use when you have to scrape away those hard to reach areas in a jar or can. They are so useful when you want to mix something in a small bowl and I love using them to scrape away any last bits of batter when baking! They are definitely an essential and must-have!

Cuisinart Appliances I Love!

Cuisinart Mini Prep-Plus Food Processor

What I can’t live without is my Cuisinart Mini-Prep! It comes in handy for chopping herbs, making pesto or just pureeing something. I love to use this product when I make hummus or my extra spicy salsa! Also, this is amazing for making baby food! (Even though I don’t have any kids right now)

Cuisinart Toaster Oven and Broiler

If you have a small kitchen and cannot live without a toaster oven, this one is perfect. The Cuisinart Toaster Oven is nice and small, yet it does an amazing job at toasting or baking whatever you put in it. Also, I love the chrome look and how it looks in the kitchen!

Pretty Pink Pickled Onions

I recently held a Birthday Dinner for my Hubby and our Best Man’s wife, since they are both born on the same day 🙂 I wanted to make something fun and easy to put together so whats more easier than tacos! I made yummy Pulled Pork (recipe coming soon) and I added an extra touch by topping them with these yummy pink pickled onions. These mouthwatering onions brightened up the flavor of the tacos and were a nice way of impressing the crowd! Continue reading
