I have to say that I am a true believer in not wasting food. You spend so much money on groceries and the last thing you want to do is throw away food that has gone bad because you just never got around to it. Salsa Verde My Way
So your regular Salsa Verde usually has tomatillos in them, which gives it the “verde” along with the jalapeños. But it also cools down the heat. So I decided to leave the tomatillos out of the equation and just make it all about the jalapeños. I recently held a Birthday Dinner for my Hubby and our Best Man’s wife, since they are both born on the same day 🙂 I wanted to make something fun and easy to put together so whats more easier than tacos! I made yummy Pulled Pork (recipe coming soon) and I added an extra touch by topping them with these yummy pink pickled onions.
